Total Commander Ultima Prime is a collection of the software and customized settings sets gathered in one installation package for enhancing Total Commander (file manager) possibilities. Our project differs from official distribution provided by Christian Ghisler on www.totalcmd.com site. If you’d like to see and try our solution, you can download it from our servers and discuss about it on our forum’s board. We provide our customization work as freeware in the form as it is but please remember, that Total Commander itself is distributed as shareware. Please keep in mind, that other contained applications licenses might differ and not be proper for commercial purposes too. Detailed descriptions of the software can be found on the forum board.

New version - TC UP 5.0

Newest TC UP version brings out rewritten Installer code and few fixed in TC UP New tool. Our menus has been rebuilt too. ColSel program has been moved to Tools menu. We removed SEO Note, Docx2rtf and FileAlyzer programs from TC UP but we've added excellent open source vector graphics editor, called Inkscape, in their stead. Thank to that step our project contains almost all types of application we've always wanted to have. As usual, included software (AIMP 2.60.528, Notepad++ 5.6.4 Unicode, Opera@USB 10.10, Recuva 1.34.460, Sumatra PDF 1.0.1, System Explorer 2.0.4.2492, System Info for Windows 2009-10-22, uTorrent 1.8.5, VirtualDub 1.9.8, XnView 1.97) and some plugins have been updated to the newest versions.

After a long break we'd like to present new version of our project - Total Commander Ultima Prime 4.9. Total Commander and many applications (AIMP 2.60 RC 1, Build 499, InfraRecorder 0.50, Miranda 0.8.7 Unicode, Notepad++ 5.5 Unicode, Opera@USB 10.00, Recuva 1.30.435, System Info for Windows 2009-09-09a, SumatraPDF 0.9.4, The KMPlayer 2.9.4.1435,Total Commander 7.50a, uTorrent" 1.8.4, VirtualDub 1.9.6, XnView 1.96.2) have been updated to the newest versions. Refreshed plugins has also been included into this build and alternative menu by damat has been added. Bugs found in TC UP New has been fixed but any further effort taken into new problems reporting will be appreciated. Our forum is opened to any posts about new problems with TC UP, which you'd like to have solved before releasing 5.0.

We're currently working on new project (ULTIMAGSM.com). Our intention is to get a multilingual website with informations about mobile devices in Wikipedia style where everyone could participate. Because of that we're looking for a help from someone who knows Joomla pretty well (or any similar CMS). If you're interested, please contact by an email.


New version - TC UP 4.8

After a longer absence period, current Total Commander Ultima Prime edition brings out many long awaited changes. In general, it is based on the newest Total commander 7.5 public beta 6 version which adds not only full Unicode characters handling, but also many other improvements: quick files names filter, breadcrumb bar, better FTP passwords encryption, button bar menus or built in internal associations system. TC UP installer has been extended with option to turn on autoplay function for opening the files from various external discs in applications best suited for such purpose (AIMP for audio files, The KMPlayer for video files and DVDs, XnView for images and InfraRecorder for blank CD/DVD which shows them in ready to write state right away). "Repair" option has been added to main menu for quick project repair or parameters change. Many other components has been fixed for better work with TC 7.5. We have also added special library for extending quick filter with additional features, which include regular expressions matching, Google-like searching or names similarity check.

Lot of plugins and applications has been updated to the newest versions (AIMP 2.60 Beta 2 Build 482, Angel Writer 3.2, Ant Movie Catalog 3.5.1.2, FileAlyzer 1.6.0.4, Free Download Manager 3.0 build 848, HxD 1.7.7.0, HFS V2.2F, InfraRecorder 0.47, Miranda 0.8.1 Unicode, Notepad++ 5.4.3 Unicode, Opera@USB 9.64, Recuva 1.27.419, System Info for Windows 2009-05-12, TightVNC 1.3.10, uTorrent 1.8.3, VirtualDub 1.9.2, Wavosaur 1.0.5.0, WinContig 0.90, WinMerge 2.12.4.0 Unicode, XnView 1.96.1).

Following our users' requests, we've decided to include WinCE filesystem plugin for handling of mobile devices based on Windows CE platform. Its installation is possible only on systems where required ActiveSync / Windows Mobile Center environment is already installed.

The newest version of Total Commander Ultima Prime offers additional deinstaller's option called "Repair Installation" which allows to fix project's errors quickly. Since January four more sub-boards are available for different language versions. All users interested in having forum in their national languages are welcomed to contact with us.

Thanks to the one of our moderators we've gained very detailed (and corrected) Czech translation and with a help of friend from Norway our project is available in Nordic language too.

Thanks to the effort of the user from Argentina TC UP's website has new domain - tcup.com.ar.

Traditionally, few applications (AIMP 2.51 Build 330, Free Download Manager 3.0 build 844, Notepad++ 5.2, Recuva 1.23.389, System Info for Windows 2009-02-24, uTorrent 1.8.2 build 14458, VirtualDub 1.8.8 build 30091, WinMerge 2.10.4, XnView 1.96) and plugins have been updated to the newest versions. All known bugs has been fixed.

In the newest version of Total Commander Ultima Prime notes management application, called SEO Note, has been added. Additionally, new sets of toolbar icons gives more options for look and feel. DarkCryptTC plugin has been added with strong files encryption possibilities. Thanks to many cryptographic algorithms, users will not be worried about security of their data. Since this version Turkish translation is also available. Some applications (AIMP 2.51 Build 328, Artweaver 0.5.7, InfraRecorder 0.46.2, Miranda IM 0.8.0 Build #25, Notepad++ 5.1.2, Opera@USB 9.63, siMail 1.1.0.1770, System Info for Windows 2008-12-16, The KMPlayer 2.9.4.1434, Wavosaur 1.0.4.0) and plugins has been updated. We fixed all known bugs.

BE AWARE: Some antivirus applications might report few TC UP applications as riskware incorrectly. THERE ARE NO TROJANS OR VIRUSES IN TC UP!

After whole three years, TC UP reached final version status. We fulfilled project goals for its content and size - 100MB. It means that since New Year new applications PROBABLY will not be added and updates will be published in irregular periods (instead of monthly ones) with bug fixes and newer versions of included software only. New features may be provided too.

We would like to thank you, all of the users for suggestions, received help and being tohether these three years.
