DarkCrypt plugin - csq - 11-13-2008
Hi All!
Recently I found an interesting plugin allow to encrypt files in more that 40 formats, like AES, DES and others.

I suppose it is not a bad idea to add this plugin in TC UP.

At a glance there are some concerns:
- proper file extension .xdc
- lack of help during encryption/decryption operations. So, it is a sort of challange to understand what algorithm is the best (in term of speed, relability e.t.c.).
- some encryption algorithm have been realised before in more reliasble software: AES-128 in winrar, AES-256 in 7Zip.
On the other hand, this plugin updating quite often and we can expect to see more mature plugin in a short time.

1) Yes, xdc
2) It's no time for make help (but it's nice) idea. When I i have some free time for it, i can add some new cipher(s) of hash-function, but help-making or readme-writting isn't so interesting for me.
3) Yes, my target is to add all algorithms (and make more safe implementation, such as using different routines for IV generation, key transformation, etc.
DarkCrypt III is new generation of plugin, where all external ciphers, such as listed in ... also there are algoritms with fixed key size section of documentation are used with new IV generator engine and new key by hash generator and transformator by cyclic Skein hash function.
Some applications uses fixed IV's or simple key expanding - but secret key-depended, safe generated IV and related key attack-safe key transformation is more good idea.

Yes, I agree - it's very nice idea.

Look also to steganographic StegoTC plugin, it's used to hide any files in bitmap image without distorition using strong encryption and custom bitset and header.

Na początek wszystkiego najlepszego w 2009r.
Ustawiłem tą wtyczkę, ale jak ją uruchomić?
Mam też inne pytanie. Czy jest gdzieś spis wszystkich funkcji TCUP wraz z opisem jak ewentualnie uruchomić czy zainstalować daną funkcję?
