If you selected 2 files with the same extension - 2 files should be opened in N++ (essociated app). If not - something is wrong.
I tested it on my machine - and it opened 2 files - but in comparison mode (with N++ plugin, something like Winmerge). I am almost sure the bug is her.

I will try to fix it. The key question is - do you use ComparePlus plugin for N++? Or this is disabled for you?

Sorry, but I can't explain it better. The video shows all the problems. This error occurs not only in NotePad++, but also in other applications. It simply does not open the selected files, only one file.
I do NOT use NotePad++ for the comparison content, I don't even understand how this happened.
I believe that everything works fine for you, but I wouldn't bother anyone if it worked fine for me.

I can not help you. I can not reproduce your issue with Opener.
However, I will work on app in future, maybe this will help. For now, thank you for your time and report.

F3/F4 does not open the selected files, but the file under the cursor. Does TCUPOpener.exe have any other startup options besides the /EDIT_FILE, /OPEN_FILE, and /INTERNAL switches?

Opener supports the following parameters:
/OPEN_FILE => F3 (OPEN FILE)
/EDIT_FILE => F4 (EDIT FILE)

- 1 File Selected (or Under Cursor) -> Use F3 to Open File or F4 to Edit File (File Under Cursor will be opened without selection)
- More then 1 file (for example 3 files) -> Use F3 to Open Files or F4 to Edit Files (File Under Cursor but not Selected will NOT be opened)

F3 Can display info about directory (size, etc)

/INTERNAL is currently not supported.

Hi!
I tried again to figure out why it wasn't working properly for me. After a complete uninstall, I reinstalled it.
I tried it after the installation the F3/F4 function still worked properly.
I started to adjust the program appearance, and when I changed Show / Full (Ctrl+F2) to Show / Brief (Ctrl+F1), the "opener" function no longer worked properly.
I restored the show and it works fine again.

I'm sorry to see that this bug hasn't been fixed in the new version. Although opening in full view does work, I've never used full view because it makes my work more difficult.
Using my own text editor instead of Notepad++ is also a mission impossible.
So I'll have to go back to the last good version, 8.8.

I will try to fix it or find a substitute solution... Not everything depends on me - I operate on an external program (file manager).
Could you please describe once again what is your problem, with details? 
1. Do you say you can not use other app then Notepad++
2. What TC View do you use (that is not working in Opener?
3. You say TC UP 8.8 was working, right?
