Shown size & number of files in directory - grajay - 11-15-2011

I'm certain there used to be this option but cannot remember have to make it happen. I wish the footer to show the number of files in a directory or sub-directory - can anyone please help?

Thanks

I think what you need is this:
Edit wincmd.ini, placed in the main TC UP directory.
Find
Code:
DirsInFooter=X
where X is some number.
Replace it with
Code:
DirsInFooter=1
Save the file and restart TC UP.

Many thanks for the reply but I don't have a "DirsInFooter=X" entry in the wincmd.ini file. I tried putting the
Code:
DirsInFooter=1
entry into the file but nothing changed Sad

Could you attach your wincmd.ini?

OK, I think I've got it.
Find
Code:
LongInStatus=1
and replace it with
Code:
LongInStatus=0

Or you can use the current config, but the counts will be showed only when you have some files selected.

In addition, while we are at it, let us use the names “Files” and “Size” instead .
