When i want to add a directory to my directory hotlist the directory is added to the TC UP Plugins. Can i change this so that the directory is placed directly in the root of that windows?

It's a bug. To fix it, write

I think it will be fixed in TC UP 3.0

Thanks for the tip this solved the problem.
Is it also possible to say at what position the directories will be added?

They are always placed at the end, it's not configurable. If you want to have it, you can post a request on http://ghisler.ch. But as Christian Ghisler is a very busy man, minor requests usually end with "I will add it to my todo list."
