Hi there,

I just wanted to copy the current TC UP installation on my USB Stick (using TC UP)... and therefore I ran into a problem:

in <TC UP Dir>\Plugins\Doc\
are the files Sugo.chm and Súgó.chm ... if I copy those two files, totalcmd wants to overwrite the first with the second one, as it cannot differ between the filenames (the copy order has no influence on it).

Can anyone reproduce this behaviour?

It works correctly here.
Can you download pure Total Commander from ghisler.com and check what happens?

Same behaviour... now I tried to copy the files via windows explorer... there's the same "Would you like to overwrite..."- dialog

What is your destination filesystem?
If it's FAT then probably no go Sad

ha! your right... it's my new USB Stick... its 8GB are initially formatted as FAT32!

But there is a real bug:
one of my friends has a CD made in Egypt, it contains music with arabic characters as file names. When we tried to copy it on my hard disk (drive J: 244GB, formatted with NTFS) TC displayed an error message. Windows Explorer could copy it.

Total Commander is an ANSI program. The author said he's working on UNICODE version, 7.5 or 8.0 should be ok.
