Change of directory date when files are changed - grajay - 04-02-2008 I seem to have a minor problem when I have changed the content of a file within a directory. Suppose my directory shows a date of 29/03/2008 and I change a file in that directory today - is there any way that I can get my directory to show the date that my file was changed please? If I add a new file to the directory, the directory date does update OK, but not if I amend an existing file. Thanks very much. RE: Change of directory date when files are changed - m^2 - 04-02-2008 Changing directory date is up to editor, some do it, some not. You can use one that does it or, if it's one-time work, do it manually via menu Files->Change attributes.
