HI , I presume it's the button bar, I'm referring to.
But how do i get ride of the icons under the menus.
I have tried "no icons" but they are still there.

If you want to hide button bars you need to go to menu: Configuration->User Interface-> Show/hide button bar.
That should do the trick.
