TC UP Help file & Hidden file - Moksha - 07-17-2008 Hi There are 2 (two) issues which I'm facing with TC UP 4.0 and for which I could not find any thread when I searched for them hence this post. 1. In my TC UP 4.0, when I click \TC UP menu in the top right hand side corner of the screen (one before \help menu), there are 2 (two) drop down menus which appear - \help and \TC UP home page. When I click \TC UP\help, Universal Extractor starts, tells me to extracts English.chm file of 131 b size in c:\program files\TCUP\PLUGINS\Docs\ENG\ and also gives an error message !! ![]() ![]() 2. Also, how do I see hidden files using TC UP programme. For example I cannot see c:\MSOcache using TC UP but the same hidden file can be seen by windows explorer !!! - what a shame 73 Moksha RE: TC UP Help file & Hidden file - fenixproductions - 07-17-2008 Ad.1. Look like you've got UniversalExtractor associated with CHM files. Someone has been overkeen: Ultima (default associations during installation procedure) or you (checking it by yourself). 1. Select any CHM file, 2. File -> Associatewith 3. click on "Edit type". 4. You should see under Open field: "C:\WINDOWS\hh.exe" %1 5. if not - change it Ad.2. Use Ctrl+Shift+H to switch hidden/system files visibility. For long term solution go to: Configuration -> Options -> Display -> "file display" gorup Check in first option
