New posible software (View *.cbz and *.cbr) - darleth - 11-03-2008
Comic Book Archive file or ComicBook Reader File is a type of archive file for the purpose of sequential viewing of images, especially comic books.
Normally are *.cbz and *.cbr files.
To view this files you can use:
CDisplay
or
ComicRack
And you can use to view electronic magazines too...
I think you can use in TCUP CDisplay because is a very light software and very easy to use...

Unfortunately, CDisplay uses registry to store settings.
I don't know ComicRack but I will try this. We will see what Ultima will think about it.
Personally I am using ComicsViewer together with CBxThumbs plugin.

Interesting idea. I will think about it.
BTW: If you change an extension from CBR to RAR (or CBZ to ZIP) you can unpack such files. Simple Alt+F9 should work too.
