TC to open Office 2007 Quick View panel .....how - marrre - 12-16-2009
Hello how to force TC to open Office 2007 Quick View panel in as it works with Office 2003 Word Excel .... as in the picture, installed the plug in wlxTxt_Office2007_0.0.4 and update oconvpck with MS. And still sees it as an archive....

Open Configuration/Plugins - Lister Plugins (.wlx)
Locate Office2007.wlx and move it to the top
Now you can make quick view for office 2007 documents.

According to plugin description: Office2007.wlx plugin allows to view Microsoft Ofice files as plain text in the lister window.
For Office 2003 files, again locate office.wlx in the list of wlx plugins, move it to the top and restart TC UP. As you write above you have installed oconvpck from MS. Now you should be able to see formated Office2003 files.
The files are not shown like on the picture , maybe we should wait for fenixproductions to tel us how to do it.

ok I did not read readme, my mistake. The 2003 works perfectly just as I expected, I expected the same from Office 2007, thanks to the answers. and at least somehow be seen

Office2007.wlx allows to view Microsoft Office 2007 files as plain text only. I am sorry but I do not plan to extend its functionality because of two reasons:
1. Full format specification has more than 7000 pages and browsing through them all just to show simple text was painful enough. Even if I could manage some spare time, I would feel it like a waste of the time due to next reason.
2. There is already one solution to make it work better: using newest MultiLister plugin with proper converter.
