ctrl+Q question

Hi!

On my office pc quick view works a little bit strange: on some types of files it suggests me to open or save file. Open leads to usual result and save opens IE save dialog.

See screenshot for more details.

I can't say that it ruins my life, just make it a little bit slower =)

If these applies to just a few types, you can edit wincmd.ini, section [ListerPlugins] and add ta line like this (this one disables running IEVew plugin on files with .doc and .docx extensions):
Code:
4_detect="EXT!="DOC" & EXT!="DOCX""
If there's more of it to bother, you can disable IEVew at all using menu Configuration->Plugins->Lister Plugins->(Find IEView on the list and delete it).

Everything that you can view in IE - you can view in IEView as well.
These are certainly web pages and, depending on IE configuration, other files like MS Office documents or pdfs.

got it, thanks. I'll better revert IEView back than and add some certain lines as you have advised.

PS I have found checkBox... lol... sometimes I'm just stupid =)

One more question: does IEView work with 2007 office documents? I have tried it, but new window opens instead

Does your IE open them?

It works, but instead of showing document content in the panel new window with office application (Word, Excel etc) appears.

Another question: is there a way to disable quick view on Thumbs.db files?
