Abut software
#1
I like TCUP very much, its my favourite software, and u guys are very good in that what u do, but i have some suggestinos
1. instead of sumatra pdf reader i would like to see foxit reader because i think that is the best software for pdf documents, sumatra is ok but foxit is a lot faster and smaler capacity than sumatra and more important is that has snapshot which is very uesful and sumatra doesnt, so i think that foxit software is a lot better solution, and ofcourse its free too.
2. about staff for burning cd and dvd i think u shoud improve it and put some other software better than this one where u have choice of burning speed. U hava a lot free software like ddpburner or ashampoo or find better one because this maybe not the best choice.
3. other less important is about xnview sofware for images, u guys u should look about FastStone viewer for images because i think its better and smaller than xnview. Just look up say if its better. Offcourse this is free too.
4. Last thing is about video player i like this one and maybe its really good but i would think about bestplayer(bsplayer) with integreted ffdshow filter.

Everything else is really nice and i like artweaver, wavosaur and the best thing is AIMP.

Unfortunately, Foxit Software didn't grant their permission.

As m^2 said, I didn't got agreement to add Foxit Reader to TC UP project. I was trying to achieve this many times but without any success (you can read reply email from sales representative - I'll leave this without comments...).

Quote:The reason is that we don't prefer to include our Foxit Reader with free software to be redistributed. It will mean a loss from our side and will be difficult to control the volume.

Sumatra PDF is still in development stage but I think that soon it will be serious Foxit Reader competitor.

I think that the current plugin solution (Menu > Plugins > CD/DVD Burning) used for burning is very comfortable way for this purpose. I am not closed for users requirements so I will take a look for external tool too.

...but I am thinking that XnView is the better one - whose gonna win? Wink

The KMPlayer has integrated codecs too.

as replacement/addition of a good and free burning program, I recommend and suggest DeepBurner.

It's small, free, supports lots of formats and configurations and many languages.

Have a look here:
http://www.deepburner.com/

There is now a commercial version of deepburner, which supports a couple more features... but they are not really necessary (at least, if you have another bur-prog installed)
