is it possible to define aliases (like in linux or unix) for their future use in the command line?

For example, I would like to define aliases for directories so that I would be able to type them in the command line and jump to the directory, which I
need.

You can also see it directly in wincmd.ini in the [Alias] section.

I cannot find the command, which allow me ty change a directory to the predefined one. Let's say I want to create a alias/command, which will jump me to the directory "D:\Temp". What should I do? What command should I use in order to I define such alias?
