Hi!
I tried to encrypt several files to .aes, but then I couldn't open it. TC UP said, that the password is wrong, though I definitely put in the right password.
How can this happen?

Does it happen with all archives or just one?

If just a single one, then:

1. Maybe you saved the password with caps lock on?
2. If the password contains both upper and lower case letters, you could press caps lock instead of shift on the way.
3. Maybe it was a typo??

Otherwise, please tell us what OS version do you use.

To avoid these problems, from now we suggest using encrypted zip files, they are exactly as secure, more commonly supported and we know who wrote it - Christian Ghisler is a very good programmer. We'll try to contact the plugin developer and, just in case, disable packing with this plugin.
