i can't not change the tabstops to bytes or kbytes and the collors ?? rare

Tabstops: Configuration->Tabstops->Size display
Colors: Either choose a preset with Appearance->Colors->(choose option) or configure your own with Configuration->Color->Define colors by filetype.
If it doesn't work and you use Vista, ensure that you have write rights to wincmd.ini palced in the main TC UP directory.
