The fact that Windows installer changes doesn't mean it's getting better.
And, please, don't give Vista as an example of a good OS, rather hope TC UP won't follow it's standards ("hey, you can't do it" or "it seems that this program has some problems with itself"). Of course this drawbacks have nothing to do with view. But Vista's Aero's styling is not commonly considered good. And MS knows it, that's why it provides good support for older interfaces inside it's new OS.
