The extension "aes" isn't associated anymore in tcup4.6 because of darkcrypt
how to decrypt inside tc up?

All assotiations (via F3 and F4) are stored in OpenFileTC ini-file, so you may change it via this app. But to do it, you need to make some more actions.

Please open OpenFileTC directly (<C:\ProgramFiles>\TC UP\Plugins\Tools\OpenFileTC\OPenFileTC.exe), open its settings (Right-click mouse, "Setup OpenFileTC" item). Open the third "Tuning" section and select there your preferred variant for forced open OpenFileTC window. For example, select "Hold mouse cursor at" checkbox and choose "Top-Right screen corner" item in combobox.

These actions you need to do only once.

After it, to associate some extension with NEW application, please do needed actions to open OpenFileTC forcely (move mouse to top-right corner) and press F3 or F4. And after it add new app in OpenFileTC window.

Unfortunaely, this plugin has been replaced by more advanced one (as you've noticed already)..
