Upon choosing Simplified Chinese, garbled characters appear on the toolbar icon.

Upon initial installation of TC UP, I encountered garbled characters when selecting Simplified Chinese as the language preference.

Copy this files (overwrite existing files) from attachment (Buttonbar.zip):

Buttonbar_00.bar
Buttonbar_01.bar
Buttonbar_02.bar

to:

TC UP\MULTI\Config\Buttonbar\

Remove file with .br2 exttension

Please tell us if everything works properly, if so, the problem will be fixed in the next version

Puzzle resolved, thank you so much.

Additionally, I couldn't find the option to export all settings in TC UP. Is it available, or should you add this functionality?

There is no, but we are working to make it possible in next version.

New Total Commander Ultima Prime 8.9 has many new features, including a feature that users have been asking for a long time, but was very difficult to implement... but we did it!

TC UP 8.9 (and next versions) can retain all user settings from the previous version during installation, such as appearance, button bar configuration, colors, menus, specific settings of individual programs included in the project, etc.

Attention! The function will work from the second installation, because only the installer of version 8.9 can save the appropriate settings.

I checked now and in fact there are files in the installer that have a different encoding, for the Chinese language it should be GB2312, but it is UTF-8.

However, if you had the correct files before, they should be restored during reinstallation.

Please use the files I sent in the previous post.
