version 9.0 app selection F3, F4
#1
Hello everyone
I switched to the new version, but previously when I pressed F3 or F4 I had a menu of programs in which program it could open, now even though it offers a choice, the problem is that it doesn't even remember it and doesn't offer any programs. I don't think I did something wrong but in previous versions it worked. I even wanted to add an app and for example notepad++ it is clear that I won't add it, it tells me that it is already added but I don't see any list of added apps.
I hope it translates correctly, because I probably can't write in Slovak Smile

If you look at it or advise whether it can be restored somehow.
I think that the new version of TC UP tools has completely changed.

Thank you very much

Preklad je perfektný  Wink

Please copy these files:

c:\Program Files\TC UP\CONFIG\SVK\SVKTC\Tools\TCUPOpener\TCUPOpener.ini
c:\Program Files\TC UP\CONFIG\SVK\SVKTC\Tools\TCUPOpener\TCUPOpenerApps.ini

to:

c:\Program Files\TC UP\MEDIA\Tools\TCUPOpener

Probably during the installation, you restored the configuration files from an older version, which had a slightly different configuration file format.

Please let me know if it helped.

I had to delete the entire old installation so I don't even have the old settings files anymore.
I didn't change anything even though I had old installations they were always preset and now there is nothing there.
I did a completely new installation of the new version.
So do the last TC UP installation again I mean version 8. and copy the ini files and then insert them into version 9?

Below I have listed what is in the new version 9, the ini files. If I have time, I will probably have to put the old version back and look at the ini files.

Nice day.

Nice day Administrator Smile

I still have a question if I looked at the old version on another computer, I mean version 8.xx,
what should I back up and overwrite in the new version 9.0,
I mean all the TC UP settings but at the same time so that I don't break the new ones added
so that they don't break. Because in older versions it worked without me setting anything.
When I wanted to press F3 I know that I had a suggestion of programs that were in TC UP and when
I selected it it still worked and the same for F4 now everything is set as if there were nothing in TC UP,
no programs and of course I can't even add those programs. Please try to look at it,
if so I would also make a backup. because if I went from version 8 to 9 I had to completely uninstall TC UP
and it didn't even give me a backup or I don't know about it.

See u later Smile

TC UP creates a backup copy in this location during each uninstall:

!Files\Backup\TC UP\

for example

f:\!Files\Backup\TC UP\

So none of your settings will be lost when reinstalling

During installation, simply uncheck TC UP Opener on backup tab or AS I MENTIONED IN THE PREVIOUS POST, COPY THE FILES I INDICATED

Hello,
it didn't help, I tried to overwrite the files from the backup everywhere but it's still at the same level. I don't know if I'm making a mistake somewhere but no changes. Sad

When installing version 9.1, on the Backup tab, simply select the "Default" scheme and everything should work fine.

Pri inštalácii verzie 9.1 na karte Zálohovanie jednoducho vyberte schému "Default" a všetko by malo fungovať správne.
