Custom Extension and QuickView
#1
Hi!

I'm using SynPlus for viewing/editing files in text format. It works ok for registred files (txt, xml and etc.), but how can I associate it with xdb files? I have even tried to do it with very nice utilily TC Plugin Manager, but it didn't help me. Any thoughts?

Does right click within SynPlus window, choosing "Interface" and checking "Files" page (set extensions there) not work properly?
Do you have xdb files asociated with other plugins?

1. have tried your advice - for some reason it just doesn't work

2. no other plugin is associaeted with xdb - they are opened with default lister

3. what is the legal/regular way to specify extensions for plugins? I can't figure out why this code in wincmd.ini doesn't work:
Code:
17=%COMMANDER_PATH%\PLUGINS\wlx\SynPlus\SynPlus.wlx
17_detect=EXT="xdb"

4. offtop: do you still accept any ideas about adding new utilities into TC UP? I want to suggest adding Impromezia TC Color Presets and TC Plugins Manager. Also it would be nice to have SynPlus instead of default TC UP plugin - SynPlus is much faster and customizable IMHO
