Simple word processor

As a long-time TCUP user, I recall the simple but sufficiently capable word processor Angel Writer (which was awesome for opening, editing, and creating simple RTF files). Although the project is now outdated, I’m curious whether there might be a chance to bring back a lightweight word processor.
With Microsoft’s decision to remove WordPad at the end of 2024, there is definitely a need for such a program. LibreOffice Writer is too heavy for TCUP’s purpose, so I have a few relatively lightweight alternatives in mind:

• UltraPad - a modernized WordPad replacement that is regularly maintained.
  
• RWordPad - an independent ReactOS WordPad, ported from ReactOS to Windows.

Yes, we've been considering adding a document processing package for some time.
