Since a few versions of TCUP (i think since 5.5) some functions are very slow the first time I use it.
For example when I want to view a picture or textfile with "F3" (fastview with the internal viewer (lister)) it takes between 10 to 30 seconds to open it the first time, once opened it opens all other files immediately until I dont use TCUP for a while (between 30 to 60min) the slowness reoccurs for the first file want to open.

The same slowness behavior also occurs when I try to create a new folder "F7" for the first time (about 10seconds) and when I try to edit a textfile "F4" (with notepad++).

I notice this behavious on all computers where I installed TCUP (6 different computers all running windows 7, 8 or 8.1)

(I can't imagine that no one else facing the same issues)
Any ideas what the cause could be? and how to solve it?

Hello, please as I can make visible the traditional menu of letters "File, Select, Commands, Red etc, I have only the icons, and secondly when I open the TCUP a bug where I get the message indicating the error line 1 occurs and it has to do with the language is Spanish, I ask your help, greetings

on windows 7 64bit, mp3tag always (not just once) opens the "first steps" in a browser window. Bext it complains about missing access rights.
When I disable tcup context menu extension, mp3tag works normally (but only opens the file selected rather than the entire folder)
Is there anything I can do to fix this

Is there some documentation about the extensions? What does it do - which parts of it can be configured by the user

1.Czy zakupiona licencja na TC obejmuje także wersje Ultima Prime oraz PowerPack?

2.Czym się różnią dwie powyżej wymienione wersje?

3.Na stronie http://www.ghisler.com/order.htm jest napisane, że zakupiona licencja (do aktualnej jak mniemam wersji) ważna jest od wersji 3.x do obecnej, czy to prawda?

4.W jaki sposób otrzymuje się program po zakupie licencji, tzn. czy jest od razu zarejestrowaną wersją wysyłaną do klienta czy samemu dokonuje się rejestracji? Ponieważ np. gdybym chciał korzystać z kilku wersji jednocześnie (albo zamiennie), mogę sobie każdą z nich manualnie zarejestrować (wkleić licencję? nie znam procedury rejestracji kopii programu) w jakiś sposób w programie ?

6.Do zakupienia wersji studenckiej wymagane jest jedynie przesłanie skana legitymacji, czy inne dokumenty także? Ewentualnie jakie?

Pisałem do panów z http://totalcmd.pl z powyższymi pytaniami na mail'a, ale nikt nie odpowiada. Tamten projekt zakończył się chyba ok 4 lat temu, tak doczytałem. Czy ktoś pomoże mi w udzieleniu odpowiedzi na powyższe pytania ?
