I have just downloaded TC UP. Unfortunately my installation attempt has not been successful, since according to Kaspersky TC UP tried installing a driver in a hidden way ... What can be the problem?

Another question: I have a Total Commander user license. TC UP is stated to be a free "addition" - I guess this is true, if the user has a TC license. However, Softpedia offers TC UP for a license fee. I am confused.

I have a small question. When I am copying files between windows I have a 'Copying file' window with two bars. Top bar shows file progress and bottom bar shows total progress. When I press 'in background' button I get only one small bar. My question is:

Is it possible to disconnect the 'copying file' window from the program's main window. Something like those small 'copying file' windows but with two bars.

Additionally, can you make 'in background' joining, spliting and unpacking multiple archives possible. I don't want to block TC when I am unpacking multiple archives.

Is there a solution to my case?

I want to create a folder with all my programes and I would like to use a single installer to install them all. Additionally, I want to be able to change the programes I want to install. Is that possible? Something like UltimaPrime installer but I believe it might me to sophistcated for me. Is there solution for dummies?

jak zrobić w Narzędziu wielokrotnej zmiany, żeby pierwszy ENTER rozpoczynał zmieniane nazw, a drugi ENTER zamykał program.

Czy jest też możliwość, żeby po procesie edycji nazw pozycję nad którymi się pracuje nie znikały? Czasami jest tak, że muszę trzy razy włączać program żeby dokonać wszystkich potrzebnych edycji. Nie jest to najwygodniejsze.

ich habe seit einigen Tagen tcup 5.2 auf meinem Rechner mit win 7 ultima, 64 bit, und bekomme beim herstellen einer Verbindung per Ftp folgende Meldung:

OpenSSL-Bibliothek nicht gefunden!
Um SSL-Verbindungen nutzen zu können, laden Sie bitte die OppenSSL-DLLs aus dem Internet herunter und kopieren sie ins Total Commander-Verzeichnis!

Was kann ich da machen oder was mache ich falsch? Und bekomme ich das zum Laufen mit meinem Win 7 Ultimat, 64 Bit System?

Since people that use a software like Total Commander are likely to be considered a power user, they might like (g)vim as well.

This would be my suggestion for a great, powerful and customizable general purpose editor.

Of course, vim takes some getting used to, but it ships with a tutorial and once you get used to the commands it's very powerful.


As for the licensing:

Hello. My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate. I've installed TC UP and after configuration it started well. I was even working all day with it. After closing it, I just couldn't start it anymore. When I click on the icon, I see a little window, as if it was trying to start, but the window closes and nothing happens.
So I install TC UP again and the same problem. After a day of using it with no problem, the following day it doesn't want to start. I've tried opening it as admnistrator but the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated.

Mam taką małą sugestię o program do kochanej Ultimy. KeePass2.13 jako password manager. Mały, sprytny i bezpieczny programik do przechowywania haseł. Jeżeli UP5.2 ma taki program to powiedzcie jaki to jest.

Odnośnie programów w UP5.2. Czy jest dostępny kompletny spis programów będących na wyposażeniu UP5.2 wraz z krótkim opisem? Spis, który można by wydrukować tak jak spis skrótów klawiszowych.

Warum kann man (ich??) die Verzeichnisse nicht einfach per Klick auf die Spaltenüberschriften (Name, Erw., Datum, etc.) sortieren?
Ich meine die Sortierung in der Ansicht "alle Details".

Das funktioniert nur mit den Dateien.
