Mam pewien problem z podglądem pliku textowego *.log. Po naciśnięciu F3 nie ma możliwości wybrania Notepad++. Po naciśnięciu Shift+F3 najpierw pokazuje się komunikat:

Drugie okno zakrywa większość okna listera, czyniąc czytanie niemożliwym.

If you use ULTIMATE, and create file associations with it, and then you hit the Undo button in AutoPlay then it will destroy the file associations, so the files associated with TC UP's programs (or ULTIMATE) will not start any longer. (And if you've set KMPlayer, AIMP or XnView in AutoPlay, I think it will also go bad.)
This problem can be solved easily: start ULTIMATE (Tools ->TC UP ULTIMATE), select "Set associations...", click "Save", and then you can close the program. (And you may have to set those up in AutoPlay again).
To do these you need an Administrator account! When you start in on a Restricted one, it will NOT work.

PS.: And please post your ideas/suggestions about TC UP tools, we (at least me) really want to improve them as much as possible. THX

One of 3.0's additions is ULTIMATE, what can create shortcuts, set up file associations, and open files with TC's wlx plugins.
I was in a hurry when I made its file extension set, so there are missing file types, that could be in it.
I know that m3u, wmv, ogg types are missing, and I think they will be added in TC UP 3.1.

Users! Please tell file extensions that you know they can be started with TC UP's programs and are not in ULTIMATE yet!

PS.: I tried to add html and other "web" types to be associated with Opera, but it didn't work somewhy, so you'll have to set that in Opera. BTW I suggest using Mozilla Firefox.

Hi, i have a problem with F3/F4.

I get a window with the title Open file Shell for TC and the message Cannot focus a disables or Invisible window.

I'm running TCUP2.9

Any ideas ?

It completes the already great Total Commander in a way that most people don't expect.

jestem nowym użytkownikiem tcup, mam pytanko dot. linii komend. otóż total commander ma opcję /i=plik.ini kt która umożliwia otwarcie nowego tc z innym plikiem zamiast wincmd.ini . jeżeli jednak zastosuję tę opcję do "tc up.exe" to ona działa (wskazany plik .ini jest odczytywany) ale "giną" inne ustawienia programu np. mam inną czcionkę (pogrubioną a zwykle używam bez pogrubienia), tc jest po angielsku i nie ma połowy menu. co mogę zrobić?

mam jeszcze jedną uwagę do przyszłych wersji tcup (właściwie to jest chyba cecha samego total commandera i autorzy tcup pewnie nie będą w stanie nic zrobić). otóż kiedy rozpoczynam kopiowanie bądź przenoszenie plików i wybieram opcję "kolejka" to kiedy okienko kopiowania się pojawi powinno ono tracić focus na rzecz głównego okna tc.

When i select a pdf file and click on the quickview panel button i don't see the pdf there. The acrobat reader will automatically open the pdf. How can i show the pdf on the quickview panel?

Is it possible to add a capture program to tc up to capture a section of the screen. Like harcopy pro or something. This program starts by pusing the print screen button. You can choose to capture the active window or you can select a section of the screen. This is very usefull.
