  Favorite folders/catalogs
Posted by: orglee - 08-22-2009, 11:06 PM - Forum: Plugins / Wtyczki - Replies (3)

First of all, hello everyone and thank you for very good file manager.

I have incredibly large folder tree. While I'm working I only use actually 3 directories but they are so nested that my finger hurts from clicking.

Is there a way to create some shortcuts on navbar or inside some menu and navigate through folders?

  Suggestion: Integration with LiberKey
Posted by: Lockszmith - 08-19-2009, 10:40 AM - Forum: Other / Inne - Replies (11)

I recently found out about a fantastic piece of software called LiberKey - which is a portable application management suite pacakged with alot of great and free portable packages.

The main advantage to LiberKey is that they centralize auto-updating of these packages.

Since at least 50% of the tools used by TC UP are also supported (with auto-updating) in LiberKey, and LiberKey also includes a portable solution to File Type Association and URI activation, they both look like a match made in heaven.

LiberKey.com is the home of the software - which is based in France, the forum is in French, but using Google Translator I managed to get-by.

Take a look and see if you like it.

I would really love to see the two products work together...

Truly Yours
Lockszmith (Gal Szkolnik)

  Samoczynne usuwanie ustawień ?? AIMP 2.50 b330!
Posted by: lisek - 08-17-2009, 09:24 PM - Forum: Błędy - No Replies

Witam.
Pozdrawiam, lisek.

  Ftp not preserving dates
Posted by: mcsee - 08-14-2009, 10:42 PM - Forum: Problems / Problemy - Replies (1)

Hello Everybody

I've read in lots of forums that FTP protocol does not preserve dates when uploading a file
It's very traumatic in order to keep version control.

SFTP works great but only for SSH sites.

Do you have any solution ?

Thanks in advance

  Drag & Drop behavior
Posted by: dmitryl - 08-10-2009, 05:45 AM - Forum: Questions / Pytania - Replies (1)

How to change the drag & drop behavior in the Files/Folders View?

Currently the drag & drop operation is similar to copy operation.

I'd like to see it as the paste one.

So, what changes should I do?

Thanks

Where can I see the outputs of the commands, which were executed in the command line?

Is it possible to add such kind of panel?

replacing Folders View panels with DOS shell
Posted by: dmitryl - 08-09-2009, 06:04 PM - Forum: Questions / Pytania - Replies (5)

Is it possible to replace one of the Folders View panels with the DOS or other shell?

I think it will be great to integrate a folders view with DOS or other shell.

If not, why it's so hard for the implementation?

As for me, I know only one such explorer - Take Command. Besides the command line and folders view integration they even built their own shell with commands.

  directory navigation
Posted by: dmitryl - 08-09-2009, 06:07 AM - Forum: Questions / Pytania - Replies (1)

The most likely feature of TC UP is the easiest directory navigation I have ever seen. The you only thing you need to do is to point to any directory in the title tab of the Folders panel and all subdirectories are open against you for review or navigation. I wonder what plug-in does such nice work? It seems the standard release of TC does not contain such feature.
